This is three flattened layers of primmer, and four layers of NFR (COQ). Just before we do a rub down ready for the lacquer.

Once it was found the new arches are offered up ready for welding tomorrow.

Day two progress report

First things first, back to tracking true

 

Front slam panel Sorted with the brand new RimmerBros replacement

 

Sills in the final stages of prep after being ground out of the old weld and re-fitted

 

Took the rear bumper off to check for the usual leak holes and hey presto, the bumper mounts fall off.

 

Next step is to tackle those rear arches.

Well time to begin the repair side of this build.

Firstly out with the old slam panel and front sub frame

 This is where we spotted a major problem

 This is the drivers side vs the passenger side alignment, i think we have found our 8mm discrepancy.
